Campaign to help a Bowling Green High School student obtain his architecture degree.
Bowling Green, OH – March 16, 2016 – Austyn Chesser launched a GoFundMe campaign to help him go to college to obtain his architecture degree. He’s been accepted into five colleges – the Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Cincinnati, The Ohio State University, Penn State, and University of Pittsburgh, but he can’t do it without your help.
Austyn’s mom would give anything to see him walking down the aisle in a cap and gown, hugging his brother as tears run down her face, some from being a proud mother and some from missing him. From bankruptcy to a breast cancer diagnosis, his mom has endured a lot and still encouraged, inspired, and motivated his brother and Austyn in every possible way. Financially, her breast cancer treatments have put their family in a horrible and frightening position. The money Austyn has raised from countless scholarships, FAFSA grants, college grants, and even money from other family members still leaves him 8 thousand dollars short of his academic dream.
Without your donation, then Austyn guesses that his high school is the finish line. Twelve years of straight A’s, countless hours of studying, of pushing himself, of his mom risking her health to support him and cheer him on, are all for nothing if he can’t get this money. Austyn’s future depends on your generosity. He’s been working his whole life for this opportunity, and now that he has it, he needs your help to keep it alive and make it real. With your donation, he will receive an education, follow his dreams of becoming an architect, raise a wonderful family, and do everything he can to keep this situation from happening to them. In the meantime, it all starts with you.
If you cannot donate at this time, it doesn’t mean that you cannot help. Please share Ausitn’s story and find him on Facebook (Austyn Chesser), or on Twitter (@Austyn_Chesser).
