Comet, the world’s first buoyant smartphone, is moving to production.
As a culture, it seems we have all become a bit jaded by the consumer trends in electronics.
Every year, we hear something “brand new, innovative and exciting is coming out”. Once in a while, that claim is warranted. An emerging tech startup, Comet Core inc. is challenging the status quo and pushing the boundaries of smartphone technology. With the release of their first product floating just over the horizon, “The Wave”, a buoyant smartphone is ready to surf it’s way into the hearts of consumers everywhere.

Comet Core Inc. recently received its series A funding and is poised to be a company to watch in 2017. Not only does the phone float, but it boasts a line of innovative new features unique to this device. A new, unparalleled Military Grade Voice Encryption called Q-Lock protects The Wave and its users from prying eyes & ears. In addition, another unique feature is the phone’s Mood Sensor which operates with an array of LED’s built into the phone to interact with the local environment. Moreover, The Wave will have an encrypted phone to phone messenger and will feature the ability to use both cameras for picture or video simultaneously.
In the past, technology and water were sort of like oil and water, but the vision of this technology by CEO Prashant Urs seeks out a unique versatility with a widespread application. The Wave project was successfully crowdfunded on Indiegogo.com raising 245% of its original goal. The product has a global demand in over 40 countries and anticipation for its release is high. In addition, Comet Core doesn’t plan on stopping there as they are diligently working on a line of other products and software which is coming down the pipeline.
Comet Core is fully funded by investors who understand and share CEO Prashant Urs’ vision for a company built around boundless innovation. By focusing on being industry innovators, Comet Core is poised to be a company of the future but for the present. We’re excited to see how The Wave influences other cell phone technology designs and what other innovations the company has to offer in the near future. After all, according to Comet Core themselves, “The future is going to be amazing!”
