HAMILTON, NEW JERSEY, August 19th, 2016- Pop singer M.C. Pollock, a New Jersey native, today announced his Heartbeats tour. Intended to stretch from October 2016 to April 2017, Pollock’s upcoming string of shows will promote the singer’s recent release of his debut E.P., ‘Heartbeats’. The seven-month performance marathon will include several other musical acts, and will feature M.C. Pollock merchandise and music for sale. All show dates are to-be-announced and will be updated on M.C. Pollock’s website.

            “Funny thing is, I used to only play live, I really wasn’t a studio musician”, M.C. Pollock remarks. “I’m ecstatic about fusing my enjoyment of live performance with the excellent production that went into my first E.P., ‘Heartbeats’“, Pollock said. Drawing influence from UK Garage, House, Pop, Trap, and R & B, ‘Heartbeats’ is the first of Pollock’s releases to be distributed on both digital and physical media. Already receiving acclaim through social media platforms and internet radio, ‘Heartbeats’ is available for streaming and download through Spotify and iTunes. The CD version will be available for purchase starting in October.

            Employing classic themes of love and loss, ‘Heartbeats’ paints an emotional journey in song form. “This E.P. Is a first for me…I guess it took a few years to really have those experiences needed to make some important music,” explains Pollock. The soon-to-be-released E.P. will be comprised of four songs. A full track listing has yet to be announced.

            Previous to the August release, M.C. Pollock has digitally distributed three singles. Most recently, the electro-pop singer showcased ‘PartyMonsta’, a Trap-inspired tune about the ups and downs of the US party culture. Other singles include ‘Thousand Times’, a collaborative track with rapper IgnoVa, and ‘Tell Your Boss’.
