TrustSpot, a next generation reputation management platform for online businesses, has opened an office in Southampton, England to service the higher than expected demand from European Clients. Having only launched in the US back in March 2016 TrustSpot’s client numbers are growing fast and are already 70% European based.
“Too many startups are slow to move into new country markets even when the demand is clearly there and the potential can be greater than the home market” said Ryan Haidinger, CEO of TrustSpot. “We quickly evaluated the size and risk of the opportunity and realized we wanted to move quickly. By doing this we are already reaping the benefits of European clients’ demands and these are driving great new functionality into our product.”
“The European market may be changing in the next two years as a result of Brexit so it makes sense to be present in Europe to understand the changes in advance, changes that might be hard to appreciate from the US. We have appointed Peter Casey as our Senior Vice President EMEA based in the UK. In Casey we have someone who has extensive experience in growing startups in the European market and will be able to adapt to any changes in that market. ”
Peter Casey will create the bridgehead to take TrustSpot further into Benelux, Germany, France and Spain in the next year. Casey has nearly 20 years’ experience in launching and growing US startups in EMEA. Casey’s recent role was as Managing Director for Europe with Nimble Commerce, the Deals and Vouchers eCommerce system where he took them to #1 in the market in less than two years.
“I have known the guys from TrustSpot for a couple of years and know they built a great product” said Casey. “I investigated the EMEA market and could see that TrustSpot has a product that was needed. The offering to EMEA clients is simple; a very feature rich platform, great service, lower costs and a no commitment contract. We will also be building commercial partnerships with European eCommerce platforms and website builders. ”
TrustSpot’s goal is to become more than just a reputation management platform but to also help to drive clients’ sales. The European office launches just as the latest platform version has been released which includes the ability to automatically send upsell coupons to customers that have created reviews.
