A Lens On COVID-19: The Future of Travel Is Bright Virtual

Summit Reveals Tips for Safe International Travel Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

(Clinton, Md.) Over the past year, many people have put their travel plans on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. But an upcoming virtual summit hosted by Xceptional Travel Destinations (XTD) Travel Club is revealing ways that people can stay safe while traveling, domestically and internationally.

XTD Travel Club is a full-service travel club well-known for its customized luxury travel group vacations and led by two experienced travel ambassadors.  To help travellers who’ve become weary being in quarantine, this dynamic duo created the Allure Staycation Travel Box, which allows clients, old and new, to experience a safe alternative to travelling abroad.  All products included in the travel box was curated from black businesses across the U.S.

On January 23, 2021, they are hosting the first international travel summit of 2021.  The virtual summit will feature the company’s co-owners Shankara McNair and TaTonya Holman, as well as, three international speakers.  A host of pre-summit activities will take place in the week leading up to the summit, including a live cooking demonstration by a celebrity chef.  The summit itself will focus on the strategies other countries have taken to successfully allow safe travel.

“We know how much people want to get out of the house and travel right now,” explained McNair.

“Thankfully, staying on the safe side doesn’t necessarily mean you have to stay at home. It means you have to be prepared and learn ways to travel the right and responsible way. That’s why we’re excited to host this virtual summit and share some valuable tips.”

McNair and Holman started their travel club 17 years ago to provide family and friends with luxurious yet affordable travel opportunities. Today, the company has grown to a full-service travel club with loyal customers who appreciate the team’s motto to customize with care.
