Anjalts New Song “Sometimes the Angels Cry” Consoles the Broken-hearted

IXOMUSIC JOINS SONGWRITER/PRODUCER ANJALTS ON RELEASING ‘SOMETIMES THE ANGELS CRY’

New York, NY – Reading the News today would make any angel cry. However, for musician/songwriter Anjalts, absorbing it all into her latest single, “Sometimes the Angels Cry” enlivens a blend of synth-wave mastery and emotional depth that’s set to launch June 7. The track is a soul-stirring excursion that brings a subtle vulnerability into the foreground, giving a glimpse into Anjalts’ songwriting range and intuitive vocal gravity in this ethereal reimagining of love’s fragile heart.

The song’s title alone speaks much in “Sometimes the Angels Cry” as the artist shares the inner conflict in relationships that teeter on the brink of dissolution, yet still brimming with love. Hidden in its retrospective airy moments, Anjalts prefers to leave the song’s meaning for interpretation by the audience, allowing everyone to enjoy the natural ambience and consolation on their own. Sometimes it’s just a broken heart that resonates on a personal level for this artist musical consolation to unresolved conflicts that don’t always fade from the heart and mind. Even when the emotional toll is too great to bear, it’s still possible to strengthen one’s resilience to move on in time.

The virtuoso track seamlessly blends bass guitar elements with EDM’s hard-hitting bass drum. And, like a beating heart of rhythmic synergy and spatial balance drives the undercurrent vibe that flows alongside Anjalts’ vocal dexterity in smooth transitions from haunting lows to soaring highs. Her contralto voice, rich with inflections, adds a profoundly moving experience for an emerging artist who also plays and produces all her music. The final track was mastered by Abbey Roads Studios in London where some of her musical heroes like Pink Floyd.

“Anjalts’ puts all her complex emotions through her music first and in “Sometimes the Angels Cry” it’s there front and center,” says Lleona Yves, Artist Development Manager at IXO Music. A small independent label that has partnered with Anjalts to release her upcoming second album. “This is the twelfth song from her forthcoming album, “Bluency,” with fifteen songs total,” continues Yves. The album is scheduled for release on July 19 in limited vinyls & CDs as Anjalts finishes up the three bonus tracks to be added,” continues Yves.

The song’s release was first introduced on Anjalts’ Instagram feed. As she continues her pop-rock wave influences with her second album, infusing more of her compelling solitary guitar playing, and setting the stage for a more pensive experience. The new single goes live on June 7 on all major streaming platforms. With lyrics beaming in the intro:

“There’s no one in this world /Like you / I’m blue/ Without you

There was no one /That holds me close/ Read my mind/ You were most”
