On Friday May 21st David Tabrizipour was a passenger in a single vehicle accident where the SUV he was riding in stuck a telephone pole head on and then spun into a tree at a very high speed. This accident turned fatal for one of the rear passenger Edwin Landrau. The driver and other passenger survived with little harm.
As a result, David suffered life threating injuries and has been fighting for this life in the ICU at North Georgia Medical Center. David suffered major blood loss, organ failure, a sheared foot, and multiple broken/fractured bones including: two broken legs, dislocated hips and broken pelvic, fractured nose, broken ankle, and multiple broken ribs.
Luckily with the Grace of God, the doctors have been able to help David’s condition improve over the last two weeks after undergoing multiple surgeries. The road ahead for him is still long but his progress has led them to be able to take him off some of his sedation allowing him to open his eyes and respond to family and friends.
As of today, David is still in the ICU at North Georgia Medical Center. This will be his home for the next 8-12 weeks unit he is strong enough to leave the Hospital. After this he will need months of physical therapy to gain his strength to learn how to walk again and fully recover.
David’s medical bills are unknown at this time but between his current hospital stay, post hospital rehabilitation and lack of work we know this burden is going to be heavy on his family while David is out of work. His career has been in the restaurant industry for 15+ years and going back to that line of work will be hard for him.

David is a beloved husband, father (Kaden 10 and Kylie 3 weeks old), son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. David’s life will forever be changed and may never go back to normal.
