Tucson, AZ – Dr. Christopher Weyer and Dr. Jamie Moenster of Dermatology and Plastic Surgery of Arizona are pleased to announce the addition of the newest member of their Tucson medical staff, Amy Weierman, PA-C Amy will begin seeing patients in the Tucson office location on April 20, 2020.
Amy is a board-certified physician whose main passion is dermatology. She has been practicing dermatology since 2010 and has developed a special interest in the treatment of chronic skin conditions and in anti-aging and cosmetic procedures. In addition to these, she is skilled in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of skin cancer and in performing comprehensive skin cancer screenings.
Amy is a native of Joliet, Illinois. She served five years in the United States Navy in Rota Spain where she was awarded the Armed Forces Air Medal before beginning her medical career. She embarked on her medical training at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL where she earned a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Following that, Amy earned her MS in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Before specializing in dermatology, Amy practiced emergency medicine in Pennsylvania.
Amy is a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, she enjoys photography, golf, and spending time with her family hiking, cycling, and camping.

They are the first practice in southern Arizona to offer fellowship-trained physicians in Mohs surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery in the same practice.
