Exercise Can Help Reduce Obesity Health Issues Says Dr. Muhammad Emran from Simple Health Radio

Three hours of exercise a week can help people become healthy and avoid serious obesity-related issues, according to a popular and experienced board-certified physician working in hospital emergency departments in Houston, Texas.

As an experienced board-certified physician working in hospital emergency departments in Houston, Texas and founder of Simple Health Radio, he has launched a campaign to make people aware of how important it is to exercise.

Dr. Muhammad Emran, whose podcasts are listened to around the world by people interested in learning more about health issues from a real doctor, encourages people to exercise at least three hours a week. Through regular exercise, the board-certified physician has said the obesity rate in the USA could be reduced tremendously and people would become slimmer and meet their ideal weight goals. However, it’s not just about being slimmer.

Obesity is a serious issue in the United States that is approaching epidemic levels. Currently, 37 percent of the adult population over the age of 20 are obese. When a person is overweight or obese, the extra mass puts additional strain on their body in different ways. This has a direct link with multiple serious health issues including diabetes, heart disease, stroke, blood clots, dementia, miscarriages, and cancer. Dr. Emran explained that regular exercise can reduce the chances of people suffering from serious obesity-related medical conditions.

When asked what type of exercise people should undertake, Dr. Emran replied: “People think they must have an expensive gym membership to exercise, but that’s not the case. Chronic sitting in our cars, at our work desks, and on our living room sofas for hours at a time has created a culture that is the opposite of exercise. By doing 30 minutes of simple exercises each day, such as walking vigorously around the park or walking up the stairs at work, allows the body to actually change its metabolism. Exercising does not have to be expensive. The key is consistently doing a routine 3 hours every week.”

Dr. Emran hopes his campaign of promoting exercise awareness will help people become healthier, slimmer, and live more productive lives with fewer medications and problems.
