The Los Angeles, CA-raised musical artist is a phenomenal singer and outstanding entrepreneur, as well as the founder of the music record label Strictly Bidness LLC, which he established with his hustler mentality and unwavering belief in his ability to accomplish all that he sets his mind to.
Born in 1992, on the 17th of May as the oldest child to a single parent, Keith lived up to the title of “big brother,” never failing to look out for his siblings as they all tried to figure out how to navigate life and its many challenges.
Ever since the age of 11, Keith Royston Jr. began taking responsibility for himself, finding small jobs to do so he could provide basic items such as clothes and other amenities for himself and his siblings.
The LA-born music star describes himself as a true citizen of Los Angeles, having attended several schools in the city including La Salle Elementary, Woodcrest Elementary, Henry Clay Middle School, and also Washington Preparatory HS.
Despite his rough upbringing, Keith never lost sight of the importance of proper education and tried repeatedly to get a degree from several institutions including the University of Texas at El Paso, Arizona State University, and Charles Drew University.
Unable to acquire a degree due to circumstances beyond his control, the dexterous youth resolved to focus on the things within his power and proceeded to revamp his passion for music, which he had been nurturing since he was 8 years old.
In 2014, Keith released 2 mixtapes that highlighted his musical potential and showcased just how versatile he was with the microphone. Returning in 2017 after a 3-year break to drop a remix of Suga Free’s I’d Rather, the talented artist was forced to go on yet another 3-year hiatus after suffering gunshot wounds.
The never say die survivor made a comeback in 2020 with a decision to cash in all his chips in the music and entertainment industry. Since then Keith has evolved into an outstanding musician with his own small business and record label through which he helps other artists produce and showcase their art to the rest of the world.
