This weekend’s Celebrity Boxing match on Pay Per View included a knockout from former NBA star Lamar Odom to pop star Aaron Carter, but there was also another swift punch in the form of vocals by singer/actor Lovari, who dazzled the celebrity packed event with his rendition of The National Anthem. The New Jersey resident began by asking the crowd, “I have a question. Who’s ready for a TKO?” Midway through the performance, they realized he was speaking about his vocal performance and not the upcoming fight matches. The performance was part of his promotional tour for his recent album “Moment Of Love”, which reached #2 on iTunes USA Dance Charts and the lead single “No Day Like Today” (the music video features a cameo from The Real Housewives Of New Jersey) reached the Top 25 of the Billboard Dance Charts.
The event, hosted by Law And Order SVU’s Ice-T and Coco, included a knockout from Lamar Odom to his opponent Aaron Carter, and a surprise deicision of a win for VH1 Love & Hip Hop’s Cisco Rosado over Grammy nominated rapper Peter Gunz. Other matches inccluded Wideneck Vs. Drew Mourney and boxing champion Tim Witherspoon against Hazel Roche.
