Jason Ostrander and Michael Hornig bring you the best of boutique fitness to your living room.New York, NY – After working together at boutique fitness studios SLT NYC and Flywheel Sports, creators Jason Ostrander and Michael Hornig decided early in the pandemic that they needed to keep their fitness community together by creating JM Fitness. Starting when they were in separate apartments, JM Fitness began as a way for Ostrander and Hornig to do something they loved together that also benefited their fitness community at large. With over a decade of combined experience, Jason and Michael made their name teaching megaformer pilates, treadmill running, and indoor cycling workouts to thousands of clients in NYC pre-pandemic and now these first-class instructors can be streamed straight into the comfort of your own home.
JM Fitness is a digital fitness platform offering live 45-60 minute workouts six days a week and on-demand streaming 24/7, 365 days a year. They offer three strength based class formats: Hardcore, a megaformer inspired low-impact, high-intensity strength training class; FIT Conditioning, a bootcamp-style cardio based class; and Hardcore Hybrid, a combination of Hardcore and FIT Conditioning. While clients can use equipment like gliders, weights, and resistance bands, classes remain accessible for everyone via the use of household items. Their Daily Replay feature takes the guesswork out of on-demand workouts. Booking a Daily Replay Hardcore or a Daily Replay FIT Conditioning will send the most recent workout right to an email inbox for immediate 24-hour access.
Whether it’s your first time working out, or your hundredth time — Simply put, there’s a class for everyone, regardless of fitness goals or available equipment. “We want our classes to focus on building strong, capable bodies with class offerings that can meet anyone at their current fitness level and still be accessible and very challenging,” said the co-founders of JM Fitness. “We currently have clients working in all types of industries or in school. “We have clients ranging in age from 23 all the way to 60+… We want you to feel that amazing muscle burn, and be challenged regardless of age, or fitness level.”
Both Ostrander and Hornig bring their history of teaching engaging and effective workouts in New York City boutique fitness. Ostrander holds a Yoga Alliance RYT® 200 hour certification and is a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist. Hornig is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Both have certifications and experience teaching on a Megaformer. When they aren’t leading high-quality at-home workouts, they’re taking care of their newly adopted Frenchie, Sprout.
JM Fitness classes can be purchased in a pack of 1, 5, or 10 classes with classes ranging between $12-$15. Monthly subscription options, personal training packages and gift certificates are also available for purchase. Private and corporate classes can be arranged by inquiry.
