Serena Brothers-Mohamed is a dedicated educator and community leader. She encompasses empowerment through her accomplishments of becoming an author, wedding officiant, yoga & mindfulness instructor, Columbia Teachers College Certified College & Career Advisor, and a transformative speaker. One of her biggest is being the proud parent of Mark, Zaria, and Aaliyah and wife to her husband Mark of 25 years. Serena is the founder of Young, Talented & Gifted, a non-profit organization. Serena is also the co-founder of Staten Island HBCU College Tour. 2013 NYS Women of Distinction Award recipient.
