WICHITA, Ks. – March 28, 2024 – Stange Law Firm, PC is proud to announce that divorce and family lawyer Clayton Sears has joined the Wichita, Kansas divorce lawyers as an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Wichita, KS family law office.
Mr. Sears earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law in Lawrence, Kansas in May 2023. While in law school, he was the recipient of the Jayhawk Scholarship, served as a 1L Representative of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association, and was a CALI Award Recipient. Before studying law, Mr. Sears attended Baker University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, graduating cum laude. In his undergraduate studies, Mr. Sears was an Outstanding Chemistry Graduate of 2018 and served as the Vice President of the Resident Learning Community for the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, while also being a member of the football team, concert choir, chamber singers, and speech choir. Mr. Sears is licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas.
Before joining the Wichita, Kansas family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Mr. Sears most recently worked as an Associate Attorney for a law firm in Wichita, Kansas handling a large array of cases including employment, professional liability, workers’ compensation, and general commercial matters. In this role, he represented clients throughout the litigation process including conducting discovery, responding to discovery requests, attending hearings, taking depositions, and engaging in constant and efficient communication with clients, while also gaining experience with drafting motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, contracts, and other legal documents. While in law school, Mr. Sears served as a Law Clerk for two firms in Topeka, KS and Overland Park, KS where he assisted with a variety of legal tasks, helping him to build his legal foundation.
