Timeshare Nightmares: Don’t Be A Victim Says Consumer Protection Networks

If you plan to visit Las Vegas, Mexico or even the Caribbean, then don’t be surprised if someone tries to sell you a timeshare. The streets are flooded with people trying to get visitors to live the dream and buy a timeshare. Sadly, many people fall for the sales patter without doing any real research. And once they sign and hand over their hard-earned money, then some people start to regret it.

The timeshare may sound like a great idea after the salespeople have had their say and grounded you down to sign. And, it may still seem like a great idea in the first year or so. But many of those people who have bought timeshares find the realisation sits in after a couple of years and find they have made the worst financial mistake of their lives.

So, what do you do if you have bought a timeshare and then come to regret it? Do you have to regret it for the duration of the contract and watch your money vanish into thin air, the simple answer is no.

Consumer Protection Networks is a champion of the Timeshare solutions. They are the ones that Timeshare salespeople hate to hear the name of. Why does the Timeshare Industry hate Consumer Protection Networks I hear you ask? The answer is simple, they get people out of their timeshare nightmare.

We decided to talk to Ralph Oaks from Consumer Protection Networks and find out what they do and how they help people, this is what he had to say.

  1. First of all, please introduce yourself.

(Ralph Oaks one of the managing partners)

  1. You help people with Timeshare issues, can you explain how you help people?

(By helping them remove the timeshare ownership from their name and their estate and years and years of fees)

  1. So, can you help people with timeshare issues anywhere in the world or only in certain countries? (Our network specializes in US based and Mexico and Caribbean timeshares)
  2. Why do you believe Timeshare became so popular? (In the beginning before the internet it was really the only way to travel to a nice place and that came with a cost as many people have learned today)
  3. Do you believe lots of people have been miss sold timeshare contracts? (Absolutely, a lot of people are told they can make 2 to 3 times profit of the original price only to find out later something they purchased for $20k can be bought for pennies on the dollar of the web. The list goes on, for the sake of time and you not having to write a novel.)
  4. The Timeshare model has been around for more than 60 years, but in reality, it is not properly governed, why is that? (That’s the question that everyone is waiting an answer for, that I do not know. One would assume the amount of revenue and taxes it generates throughout.)
  5. So, people believe they are stuck with their timeshare contracts and there is no getting out of them, is that correct? (Correct because that is the case most of the time if they own a timeshare versus a travel club.)
  6. What has been your biggest success story in help a person with their Timeshare problem? (Helping a retired veteran whom was widowed, originally bought it for his family to travel holidays together, he told me the salesperson in Pigeon Forge, TN made him feel like because he had missed out on so much of his family’s life from being in the military, he should buy this to use for them to make up for lost times. His first initial purchase he learned would only get him a studio after his bonus points went away, so they kept upgrading him through the years and before he knew it, he was paying $12k plus in annual fees and his children did not want it. So, helping this gentleman was a honor.)
  7. If someone has been miss sold a timeshare contract, can they claim compensation? (Most time they cannot, once the money is spent, it’s just simply gone. There is no difference in checking into a nice hotel room for say $140 versus someone spending the average sales price of $20k on a timeshare, once the money is spent both sums are gone.)
  8. What would you say your success rate is with dealing with Timeshare problems?

(With consumer Protection Networks we offer a 100% guarantee or money back, we can do that because of the network of partners we have. We never take a client we feel we might can help, only the one we know we can.

For people that are in need of special relief from the bad experiences within the timeshare industry, Consumer Protection Networks can get them the relief that they so desperately need.
