San Diego – Top Cannabis Technology Brand ‘WILL BE BACK’ at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 after Controversial 2017 Comic-Con; The BudTrader Nerd Headquarters Will Host Gaming, Sneak Previews, Celeb Appearances, Luxury Lounge, Catered In-N-Out and More During SDCC-2018.

The brand’s primary footprint will be at Budtrader Nerd Headquarters, a unique outdoor experience just two blocks from the San Diego Convention Center, where they will unveil sneak previews of new movies and games, offer video gameplay on a five story high projector screen and give away event-exclusive swag and merchandise. They will also be hooking fans up with free In-N-Out Burger and a luxury VIP air-conditioned bus lounge with a cell phone charging station, wifi, CBD water, sunscreen and exclusive content shown on HD screens. Hosting the BudTrader’s bus lounge will be the notoriously “smart and sophisticated” BudTrader Babes, along with knowledgeable tour guides from San Diego’s premiere cannabis tour company, MJ Tours (

BudTrader CEO Brad McLaughlin says that fans who visit Budtrader Nerd Headquarters should expect a Comic Con experience like no other. “Were going to have movie previews that no one else has, video games no one else has that aren’t even out yet, movie stars, tv stars and celebrities hanging out with their fans. Not celebrities forced to show up and make and appearance because their contractually obligated to do so by some mega media company. I’m talking about cool, down to earth celebrities that want to kick it with their fans, eat In N Out burger and play video games.”

BudTraders infamous yacht party, at 5th avenue landing, behind the convention center last year at Comic-Con resulted in their controversial ejection after just two days. The Budtrader yacht was unceremoniously removed from the harbor in the middle of the night. This caused BudTrader to lose out on their planned Saturday extravaganza, along with tens of thousands of dollars in losses due to the cancellation.

“People kept asking us if we were coming back?” McLaughlin said. “You bet your ass we’re coming back…. with a vengeance! We may not have all the money in the world like TBS or Amazon, but I guarantee that the BudTrader experience will be the highlight of Comic-Con. I also guarantee that the same haters from last year are gonna hate on us even more this year. Because it’s judgement day! And we’re the ghost of Christmas Past!

The incident with BudTrader’s superyacht is currently being heard by the courts, with McLaughlin suing the yacht’s ownership for going back on a contract which both parties signed. It’s still unclear who exactly had BudTrader ejected last year from Comic-Con but there are many online conspiracy theories ranging from event organizers, to big media conglomerates and even billionaire anti-cannabis crusaders. This reporter doesn’t know for sure what’s going to happen with BudTrader at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, but one thing is for certain, it’s definitely not going to be boring.

Last year, BudTrader’s presence at Comic Con was covered by publications such as High Times, Times of San Diego, The San Diego Union Tribune and over 400 other news outlets. is the largest online cannabis marketplace on earth with over one-million registered users on its popular platform. BudTrader has more subscribers than Weedmaps or Leafly, two long-established industry giants. Called the “Craigslist of Cannabis”, the platform lets users post and respond to ads for cannabis and related products, services, supplies, real estate and jobs.
