Travel Smart, Live Wise, Insider Guide to Healthy Travel

Regular air travel can take a toll on the human body. Frequent flyers are exposed to myriad chemical toxins, poor air quality conditions and radiation. It is estimated travelers are expose to a thousand times more radiation than a person on the ground in a year. Travel Smart Live Wise offers a road map to overcoming these challenges and provides tips for healthy living to those who travel frequently by plane. Earthbound folks can benefit from the information as well. Coleman, a newly retired flight attendant and a holistic professional, blends her experience and knowledge to present six key factors to staying healthy.

  1. Live is a non- toxic environment
  2. Be alkalized-have proper ph balance in your digestive system
  3. Stay well hydrated
  4. Get the minerals to support health and eat healthy foods
  5. Exercise, be active
  6. Develop a positive attitude and have optimism for the future.

Travel Smart, Live Wise provides a host of physical and mental strategies for those who want to live a better life.

About the Author

Stephanie A Coleman is a native of Chicago, Illinois. She is a Certified Health Coach, Certified health Counselor, Certified Reflexologist, Certified QRA practitioner and a Certified Natural Health Professional. Stephanie was a flight attendant for United Airlines more than 40 years. Her love of flying and airplanes led to her becoming a private Pilot. She has been licensed pilot since 1979. Stephanie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1996, and is a professional Artist. Stephanie is the mother of an Air Force Colonel and pilot. Her father was a Tuskegee Airman, and her former husband was a commander and Navy pilot. Stephanie has been a breast cancer survivor since 2001. With the experience of having cancer and seeing how victims of cancer are treated, she has developed a strong interest in most health issues as well as a continuing thirst for health knowledge. Stephanie realizes how little the average American knows about the workings and needs of the human body. This book is an attempt to educate the general public, as well as airline personnel, of what they can do to be proactive about their own health and to prevent disease when they fly. Stephanie believes that the only investment that will pay dividends in the future is the investment in our health.
