This year Vashmere will be honoured at the 2nd Annual ATL Actors Awards for his work within the Atlanta film industry and his impressive portfolio which includes directing music videos, tv commercials, pilots, and award winning short films. Within five years Vashmere has worked with a number of talented names including Kim Fields, Chris Rock, Headkrack, and Arnez J.

Vashmere’s most recent project is “The Wish and The Wisp,” a fantasy short film about two siblings, Sam and Sarah who discover the value in friendship and the magic of believing after they find a real wish and encounter the menacing creature that wants it back. The short film is a dream come true for fans of 80’s fantasy films and pays homage to many famous directors of the past.
