Kenneth Lee McClintock, widely known as Kennymac McClintock, continues to build on a career spanning entrepreneurship, interior design, technology innovation, and community service. As a principal of Cutting Corners Inc., McClintock has spent decades helping shape the interiors industry while embracing new technologies and business opportunities.
A long-standing Industry Partner of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) since 1990, McClintock has worked with professionals across Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, Arizona, California, Oklahoma, and Florida. His career reflects a commitment to advancing the design profession and supporting interior designers throughout the United States.
Among his most notable achievements was helping pioneer one of the world’s first industry-specific e-commerce platforms for interior textiles with InteriorFabrics.com in 1997. At a time when online commerce was still in its infancy, the platform demonstrated how digital technology could transform the way designers sourced fabrics and furnishings, positioning Cutting Corners Inc. at the forefront of online innovation.
Beyond business, McClintock has maintained a strong commitment to public service and environmental stewardship. He has supported The Ocean Conservancy since 1990 and has served with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Seventh District, reflecting his lifelong passion for boating, maritime safety, and conservation.
McClintock’s interests extend well beyond the design world. An avid diver, spearfisherman, boater, motorcyclist, cyclist, and snow skier, he also completed a world circumnavigation around the turn of the millennium. His enthusiasm for adventure mirrors the entrepreneurial spirit that has defined his professional career.
The McClintock family’s legacy in business dates back to the founding of Cutting Corners Inc. in 1978 by Kenneth’s parents, Army Captain E. A. McClintock and Glenna Ann McClintock. Together they established a respected family enterprise serving the interior design industry. Kenneth’s sister, Kelly Ann McClintock (Kelly Ann Cleaver), has also contributed to the family’s longstanding involvement in the design profession.
Today, Kenneth Lee McClintock remains focused on innovation while celebrating the values of entrepreneurship, family, and service that have shaped his career. Through Cutting Corners Inc. and its online presence, he continues to champion technology, design excellence, and customer service while inspiring future generations of entrepreneurs.
