Netty Bruce Manga is a fresh and talented singer- songwriter from Senegal. “We are the soldiers,” is Netty’s first single release. Due to COVID-19 and its effects on our communities, Netty wanted to give back by sensitizing not only his community in the US but also Senegal and the rest of the world. This exciting acapella piece is a celebration of culture that features 3 languages, English, French and Netty’s mother tongue, Wolof.

After living in the US for 4 years, Netty has had to rediscover himself and eventually change his worldview. Netty is learning a new culture while still keeping his identity and culture alive. He has had to find the right balance. He has learned to view the world with patience, empathy and tolerance. All of these experiences have greatly influenced his music. It is a celebration of music genres all the way from Africa to the West.

“We are the soldiers,” is Netty’s first bonus song from his first album, “ILLUSIONS”. In this album, Netty reveals himself to the word. Netty takes the listener along for the ride as he goes through life’s experiences. As a pundit, Netty thinks out loud life while motivating and oozing out positive energy.
