Above Art Studios Honors Black Businesses and Artists with ‘Resilience Exhibition’

New Brunswick, New Jersey – Celebrating artists, their artwork and the continued success of its business, Above Art Studios will host its “Resilience Exhibition” at 3-7 p.m. from May 1-21, located at 55 Morris St., New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Remaining open and active despite more than 250,000 businesses closing due to the pandemic, Above Art Studios’ latest exhibition will be comprised of 11 artists including Kervin Andre, Ron Powell, Simone Agoussoye, and many more.

“The exhibition is about both surviving as black people and surviving as a black business through the pandemic,” Above Art Studio Co-Owner Dontae Muse said. 

Come enjoy music from a live band and an in-touch DJ. Appetizers, wine and/or champagne will also be served. So come and feast your eyes on some amazing artwork while deciding on what to add to your collection.

Advanced tickets are required. Masks are mandatory. Temperature will be checked at door.
