On June 4, 2022, Trinity International University of Ambassadors (TIUA) awarded Earl Davis, Jr. an honorary doctorate of philosophy for his contribution in business, education, his philanthropic and humanitarian efforts to end human trafficking and to close the wealth and income inequality gap.
Coming from humble beginnings of poverty and abuse, Davis declared war on poverty, at an early age – being the victim of abuse himself, and born into poverty.
Dr. Earl Davis, Jr. says, “Give a shelter less man tools and he’ll build a home. Inspire him, encourage him, give him vision, and he’ll build an empire.”
Dr. Davis believes that this is just the beginning and looks forward to assisting the clarion call of this magnificent university and honors program; and to live up to the lofty ambitions that this type of honor demands.
Davis, congratulates all of his fellow class of 2022 honorary recipients, and says a special ‘Thank You’ to Dr. Telishia Berry (who nominated him), Dr. Jacqueline Mohair, Chancellor of TIUA, Dr. Pasha Carter, and to all of TIUA’s trustees, administrators, staff, donors, and volunteers.
It is also important to note that legendary, history making, iconic master motivator Les Brown was in attendance and received an honorary doctorate, as well as special honors from President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Ironically, Brown has been Dr. Davis’ mentor for the past 20 years – that shows that greatness begets greatness.
The official title that was bestowed to Earl Davis, Jr. is Doctor of Philosophy, honoris causa, in recognition of entrepreneurship and business administration.
The Business Honors Program of Trinity International University of Ambassadors awarded the Honorary Doctorate. Trinity is a private Christian university authorized by the State of Georgia, with full accreditation with the World-Wide Accreditation Commission of Christian Education Institutions. The school is also accredited with the United Nations.
