Anjalts follows up her ethereal hit single ‘Sometimes the Angels Cry” and the popular “Airbender Alone,” delivering new music to her fans during the hottest summer of 2024. Each track resonates with a quintessential frequency favored by listeners tuning in. “Losing My Mind” is the thirteenth track lifted off the highly anticipated second album that culminates from many late-night recordings of improvised fervor and ambiance reflecting the artist’s mindset of finding a glowing balance despite sweltering heat outside.
“Losing My Mind” brings together a pop-rock fusion of dynamic guitar riffs, over some heavy-laden drums that drive the track’s energetic pace. The cooling effect of Anjalts’ sultry vocals adds an idiosyncratic yet poignant dimension to her music, showcasing the unique qualities of this prolific artist as she emerges onto the scene. The song is about finding your resilience and keeping a balanced mindset, even when relationships fall apart and you’re trying to hold it all together, yet the inevitable chaos remains.
“Experiencing the creation process of “Losing My Mind” was both awe-inspiring and experimental, says Acen Sinclair, studio engineer at IXO Music. Anjalts had just finished recording “Sometimes the Angels Cry” and was getting it mastered at Abbey Road in London. Then she walked right back into the studio, plugged in her guitar, and struck the chords for “Losing My Mind.” “I just hit the record button,” added Sinclair. “It just flowed right in. With two hours left of studio time, she did the drumming parts and just started singing the words, improvising and pausing to write it down,” continues Sinclair who worked with Anjalts since her first album project “Air to Fire’ was released in February 2023. The eco-conscious artist took an unconventional approach with her music when she first started, emphasizing the importance of protecting the Amazon Rainforests and other vital ecosystems that sustain us on our planet.
IXO Music announced that Anjalts’ album “Bluency” will be released Friday, August 16, rain or shine, with fans clamoring for more music videos for certain song requests through various channels.
