New York City, NY – Artist Kat Alyst will launch a personal photographic story entitled, Someone is Trying to Tell You Something, in 2021. The all-new show will display the multi-talented artist’s eclectic work as she steps outside of her comfort zones. The stories Alyst tell in the exhibit will tell personal stories and express narratives the artist has never explored previously.
Someone is Trying to Tell You Something will exhibit Alyst’s vulnerabilities through the photographic lens. Alyst aims to inspire individuals and support them through her work. The artist has experienced many struggles and personal issues during her life, and she hopes her stories will resonate with others through imagery. She hopes to motivate people and encourage them to stand up for their personal rights. The exhibition will focus on mental health and the odd real-life experiences she has had over the years.
Alyst’s work focuses on a fictional world created with a variety of elements including apathy, fashion, and at times nonsensical and quirky tones. The three elements come together to create a unique art world unlike any other. Although Alyst also works in graphic design and social media, she focuses her artwork on photography creating dynamic moments that provoke thought. Many of Alyst’s characters display apathetic expressions with striking colors making them stand out even more. There is a hidden message(s) below the surface.
The artist has built a strong reputation as one of the most creative in the photography arena.
