Cara completed her undergraduate degree from the Arizona State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science in 2014, giving her over 5 years of experience in her field. Wanting to further her education she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from her alma mater in 2016. Furthering her training she completed a Speech-Language Pathologist internship with Frank Elementary School as well as the Pediatric Speech-Language Specialists.

SLPs also play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (often in a team with pediatricians and psychologists).
