The Crawford Mansion Community Center is reopening as a cooling and charging center, new restrictions are in place.
PORT CHESTER, NEW YORK – Starting Friday, August 7th, visitors to Crawford Park will be able to take shelter from the hot sun at the Crawford Mansion Community Center. Residents looking for a change in scenery during their workday will be happy to find free WIFI available both inside and out.
Located at 122 North Ridge Street in Rye Brook, the Crawford Mansion Community Center will be open daily from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Park visitors are welcome to come in to cool off and charge their electronic devices. To maintain safe health practices, the number of visitors will be limited and protocols will be followed.
Crawford Mansion Community Center Restrictions & Protocol:
- Before entering, all visitors must: complete a questionnaire attesting to being healthy; complete a form about COVID interactions, and provide contact information for tracing.
- Masks must be worn by all visitors at all times while inside or they will be asked to leave.
- The number of people at each table will be limited to three.
- Visitors should plan to stay no more than one hour inside the center. They are welcome to remain in the park as long as they wish.
- No pets.
- Restrooms are available.
