This past year has been one of the most challenge in many decades for musicians and artists, due to the COVID-19 lockdowns. This is why I am particularly pleased to see that artists such as Dayna Madison are out there, continuing to make music, and creating some of the best tracks in his discography. This is definitely what happened with “Don’t Say”, one of Dayna Madison’s most recent releases. This track was written by Andre Writer, Troy Hayes, and Dayna Madison herself. In addition to that it was produced by Bankwoe, who helped bring the vision to life.
What’s special about this release is the fact that it gives the audience a strong insight into her beautiful vocal skills. The singing on the track is heartfelt and spontaneous, highlighting Dayna’s huge dynamic range as a vocalist. In addition to that, the instrumental is really fantastic as well, as the background song feels like a perfect fit with the artist’s music and creative vision as a whole. Dayna Madison is a true artist, and this song stands out as a perfect example of what she is really all about. “Don’t Say” feels like a perfect combination of pop and R&B influences, and it stands out due to its groove-driven approach and catchy hooks.
It would eb highly recommended listening to “Don’t Say” if you are a fan of artists such as Sza, Summer Walker, Teyana Taylor. The passion and spontaneity that drive this song are unparalleled, and the quality of the production is a great match with Dayna Madison’s flow and delivery. There is something quite special about this release, and Dayna Madison is a true professional at channeling some of the best music influences out there.
