Island Food Tours, started by a group of young foodies, allows participants the opportunity to explore the island through taste. The company’s goal is to facilitate every foodie on the hunt for the next great bite by showcasing local, rare and uniquely Bahamian cuisine through an entertaining and flavorful food tour.
What exactly is a food tour? It’s a food experience that allows guests to indulge in tastings from various restaurants and sip and rum and other cocktails.
Founder Sandy Campbell is excited about this new partnership with Goombay House and maintains that “these new tours will bring a new and exciting element to the food scene in Nassau. Guests can relax in our climate controlled van as they are shuttled to foodie heaven visiting 2-3 tasting stops over 3 hours.”

*Brunchin’ Sundays Tour – 3 hour tour that allows guests to sample brunch favorites at 2 of Nassau’s fave brunch hot spots and end with a one hour brunch cooking class at the studio.
*Rum Runners Pub Crawl – 3 hour tour that allows guests to bar hop between carefully selected watering holes culminating at Goombay House to participate in a mixology class.
*City and Dine Tour – 3 hour tour that allows guests to partake in sampling menus from 2 restaurants and culminating in a cooking class at Goombay House.
*Da Conchin’ Tour – 3 hour tour that allows guests to enjoy a culinary roadtrip culminating at the cooking studio preparing a conch dish.
