There are 554,000 homeless people in the USA according to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Annual Homeless Assessment. In New Jersey alone there are almost 10,000 homeless. The majority of those people are walking the streets with a lack of proper footwear. Now is the time to act says Fear0 Footwear.
One of the most important charity campaigns this year has been launched in New Jersey with the aim to help the homeless by providing them with much needed footwear. New Jersey-based fashion brand Fear0 Footwear is determined to help as many as possible in his home state.
Fear0’s charitable campaign goal is donate new pair of shoes to local homeless. Sadly, the majority of the 10,000 people who are currently living on the streets in New Jersey are walking around with shoes that offer no real cover or protection for their feet. Many homeless don’t even have shoes and may cause serious health problems, which results in long term damage. The founder of Fear0 Footwear is determined to do something.
For each pair of shoes bought from Fear0 Footwear, the company will donate a pair of shoes to the the homeless through local community organizations or direct distribution on the streets. Imagine the difference this campaign will make. It may not seem like much, but for those in need a new pair of shoes will make a huge difference.
When asked why he started the campaign the founder of Fear0 Footwear replied: “O a snowy day in Dec 2018 as I was exiting a shopping mall, I saw this man walking. The way he was walking I could see he was in pain. He was walking barefoot with a bandage on one foot. The white bandage was soaked in blood, as he walked in front of me. I went ahead and asked if he needed help. That’s how the idea began with our “shoes for homeless” campaign.
It may seem like a small thing but giving a homeless person a pair of shoes means a lot and that is why Fear0 Footwear wants people to back the Shoes For The Homeless Campaign.
