July 10th, 2020 – Nuremberg, Germany – German music sensation Sven Andrew has officially released his new single, “Can’t Wait Till This is All Over”, a song inspired by the current coronavirus pandemic. Andrew released the song’s corresponding music video on his official YouTube page, which was shot during the two-month coronavirus lockdown in his rehearsal studio in Nuremberg.
Like most people around the world, Andrew has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic having had his latest album release party for So Much More cancelled. In spite of having the So Much More record release show cancelled along with other gigs, Andrew made use of his time during lockdown writing and recording a brand-new album that was inspired by the pandemic. Andrew’s new album, Created in Quarantine, showcases the difficulty, both mentally and physically, the coronavirus lockdown had on him and others.
Andrew shot the “Can’t Wait Till This is Over” music video over a two-month period. The video for the new album’s lead single shows what the singer/songwriter did during his time in lockdown. According to Andrew, in spite of occupying himself with video editing, drawing, painting, and music, lockdown was not an enjoyable experience and that was reflected in the songs he wrote for Created in Quarantine.
“Can’t Wait Till This is All Over” showcases the synth pop melodies and hooks that Andrew has become known for. Although still young in the music industry, Andrew has already toured Asia with his most recent set of shows pre-lockdown taking place in Indonesia.
Andrew has not focused on being a “traditional musician” and doesn’t want to dictate his career on the whims of the industry and market. Rather, Andrew wants to make the music he desires. Andrew has received hundreds of thousands of views of his music videos.
