Fort Worth, TX – Grandmaster Jamie Cashion, a 9th Level Black Belt in American Karate, was inducted into the London International Martial Arts Hall of Fame at the organization’s 18th annual awards banquet. The event, which took place on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, Kensington, honored martial artists from around the world for excellence in their respective arts. Proceeds from the awards banquet supported the work of Cancer Research UK.
Established by Grandmaster Gary Wasniewski in 2005, the London International Martial Arts Hall of Fame is the oldest martial arts Hall of Fame in Europe. The yearly event features a Hall of Fame Banquet and numerous seminars and consistently is a sold-out event drawing an international crowd for the festivities.
Grandmaster Cashion has set a strong example in his life through both his martial arts success and his commitment to giving back to the community. He has worked with at-risk youth and underprivileged children in Texas and as far away as Africa. Cashion has been honored by Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton with the Presidential Sport Award and by former State Senator Mike Moncrief with the Texas Martial Arts Award. In addition, he has received recognition from other prestigious martial arts organizations, including the Masters Hall of Fame, the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame, Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame, California Martial Arts History Museum “Hall of Honor,” The Who’s Who in The Martial Arts Hall of Fame, All Pro Tae Kwon Do Hall of Fame, Elite Black Belt Hall of Fame, Legends of Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Cashion has also received The Joe Lewis External Warrior Award & Official Karate Magazine “Golden Shuto Award.”
