With an LLB from Western University and over a decade of experience with corporate law firms, Ms. Patel will be tackling matters pertaining to trademarks, copyright laws, privacy rights, and patents for startups looking to protect their Intellectual Properties as they grow from inception through maturity (and beyond).
About MEGHA N. PATEL
Megha attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. From there, she went on to the Illinois Institute of Technology, where she was awarded a master’s degree in Intellectual Property Management and Markets, in addition to her J.D. Having completed law school, she began working for a boutique intellectual property firm focusing on trademark portfolio management, copyright registrations, and software litigation projects. Prior to Incubate IP, Megha had been in contract law, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, statements of work, amendments, and non-disclosure agreements. When she has free time, Megha likes to travel, cook, and spend time with her family and friends.
