WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – After successfully training more than 10,000 students in Zoho’s customer relationship management (CRM) tools, Lior Izik is changing his teaching model to include live online sessions.
In 2021, Izik’s Izik Academy began experimenting with teaching students with a mixture of live online sessions and recorded sessions. The results were 45 percent more graduates than the conventional method of only recorded sessions.
Online learning is a $2 billion-a-year industry dominated by recorded session courses. During last year’s trial, Izik said he found students were consuming the recorded sessions when they had time and coming to the live sessions after they had a base.
Therefore, the live sessions are short and to the point, said Izik, a Premium Zoho Partner. He added that as a Zoho Partner, he’s working directly with the Zoho team to give feedback and constantly improve the system for users.
“It is common that students will buy a course, get stuck on a lesson that they don’t understand and never go back to the course again. We saw that students came back to the live sessions to clarify their questions and continue with the courses. This is a huge win for the students,” Izik said.
“I’m passionate about helping people, especially small business owners, succeed. It took me years to get a stable business, and I feel the pain of business owners trying to do the same,” Izik added. “Today, I’m not only a teacher. I implement what I preach on a daily basis in my own businesses.”
