Dr. Frank completed his undergraduate degree from the Southern Methodist University graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1986. Furthering his education he completed his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois in 1990, giving him over two decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his degree he completed his internship with St. Joseph’s Hospital, followed by a residency with the University of Rochester. Wanting to further his training he completed his Diseases and surgery of the retina, vitreous and macula fellowship with the Eye Consultants of Atlanta, P.C.
Dr. Frank is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. To stay up to date in his field he remains a professional member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Flying Physicians, Georgia Society of Ophthalmology, and the Vitreous Society. Dr. Frank currently practices with the Eye Consultants of Atlanta, and is affiliated with Piedmont Eye Ambulatory Surgery Center and the Shepherd Spinal Center. Additionally he is the clinical director of the Collaborative Ocular Melanoma Society, a board member of the Diabetes Resource Center, and the Co-Director of the Eye Consultants of Atlanta, PC Fellowship Program.
