Dec 3, 2019 – Jay A. Conger, one of the world’s topmost experts on leadership, is receiving the 2019 Best Practice Institute Lifetime Achievement Award at the BPI Senior Executive Board Meeting at today at TIAA’s HQ in Charlotte, NC.
Conger joins other industry trailblazers such as Bev Kaye, John Kotter, Francis Hesselbein, and others who have received this honor from BPI’s CEO and Founder, Louis Carter.
Jay Conger is currently a senior research scientist at the Center for Effective Organizations, as well as the Henry Kravis Chaired Professor of Leadership Studies at Claremont McKenna College in Los Angeles. Having worked with over 500 global companies and written 15 books and over a hundred articles and book chapters, Jay Conger is much sought after by reputed journals and periodicals such as the ‘Harvard Business Review’ and the ‘Wall Street Journal’.
Among his research interests, Conger has explored and written on leadership, organizational change, boards of directors, and the training and development of leaders and managers. He has taught at the Harvard Business School, INSEAD (France), the London Business School, McGill University, and the University of Southern California.
