Koi Unleashed, the Action RPG influenced by Japanese folktales has a release date

The release date of Koi Unleashed, an action RPG influenced by Japanese folktales, has been announced.

The game tells the story of six adventurers who find themselves lost after their ship stranded in a land filled with mysterious creatures.

It is characterized by its unique worldview as described by the author itself: “I was influenced by Japanese folk tales during the feudal era of Japan”.

The release trailer allows you to see gameplay of battles with giant enemies displaying Japanese names, and the main character being operated by the player, aided by a party of four people. It is a combat system that gives instructions in real time to party members who have roles such as tanks and healers. There is also a guild management element to improve weapons and spells, so you can increase the strength of all characters.

“Koi Unleashed” will be available on PC at Steam / itch.co from April 29. Nintendo Switch / PS4 will also be released, but the release date has not been determined yet.
