No one thought of this before! What if our roads, school grounds, pavements, and neighborhood streets were lined with pavers that absorb the water, filter it, and channel all of the collected water into clean storage!
Rainwater harvesting has been done conventionally on rooftops, but now even the water that falls on the ground can be tapped. IDER allows rainwater to be filtered at the 1-micron level and channel it into honeycomb storage wells nearby. This water is clean and can be used for washing, drinking, car washes, gardening, etc. The honeycomb storage will be crucial to facilities and individuals that depend on clean water as it keeps water water fresh without algae for over seven years. This is executed without the use of electricity, motors or chemicals.

The water-absorbing and filtering IDER range of pavers, kerbs stones, garden pavers, flexi pavers, and manholes are available in a wide range of styles, designs, and colors. The material is breathable, self-cleaning, shockproof, freeze-resistant, and can absorb up to 650L of water per square meter per hour. This is more impressive learning that large volumes of water from storms and hevy rains will be curtailed with this piece of innovation.
