One of the keyways OTW Events connects with the local community is through face-to-face event style marketing and fundraising. When people come together at OTW Events’ events hosted in and outside local retailers, the spirit of generosity fills the room. But the impact doesn’t stop there.
At OTW Events, the belief is in amplifying the impact of each donation. That’s why, for every contribution made at its fundraising events, the company matches it with various community give-back drives throughout the year. These drives are a testament to the power of collective action and the ripple e?ect of kindness.
Currently, OTW Events is in the midst of its winter care kit drive, providing essential items to those experiencing homelessness in the community. On April 3, 2024, the company distributed 500 care kits to the Central Ave Center of Hope Community of Christ and the Wilhelmina Gill Multi-Service Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Each kit includes a scarf, beanie, gloves, socks, and an emergency blanket, all bearing the Stand for the Silent logo — a symbol of love, hope and solidarity.
But the work doesn’t end there. On May 22nd, 2024, OTW Events will be distributing its final 500 care kits to the Salvation Army and Restart KC, both located in Kansas City, Missouri. In fact, since opening in 2020 OTW Events has reported delivering just over 5000 of these supplies to various community centers in Kansas City metro area. These kits will provide warmth and comfort to individuals facing the harsh realities of homelessness, reminding them that they are not forgotten.
Looking ahead, OTW Events invites the community to stay on the lookout for their upcoming initiatives, including their back-to-school drive and holiday toy drive. These endeavors are a testament to the company’s ongoing commitment to serving those in need and fostering a culture of compassion and support within the Kansas City metro area.
