Popolo Music Group (PMG) Launches AuditionKpop.com: A First-of-Its-Kind Global Digital Audition Platform for Aspiring Idols

Manila, Philippines – Popolo Music Group (PMG), the international record label headquartered in Manila with offices in Seoul and Los Angeles, has officially launched AuditionKpop.com, a groundbreaking online audition platform designed to revolutionize global talent discovery.

For the first time, aspiring singers, dancers, rappers, and performers from anywhere in the world can audition directly for PMG and its affiliates without the need for costly travel or in-person screenings. In partnership with Daewon Entertainment, the platform simplifies the application process, offering a single digital gateway to opportunities in P-Pop and K-Pop.

“Talent is everywhere, but access is not,” said Paul “Pooh” Lunt, founder and CEO of PMG. “With AuditionKpop.com, we are breaking down barriers and giving young artists worldwide the opportunity to be seen, heard, and developed into the next generation of global stars.”

How It Works

Applicants submit:

  • A 1–2 minute performance video (singing, dancing, rapping, or a combination)
  • 2–3 recent high-quality photos (headshot and full-body)
  • Basic personal details (name, age, nationality, and contact information)

Successful applicants will be considered for PMG’s six-month trainee program, which emphasizes both technical artistry and personal development. With training centers in Manila and Cebu, PMG offers housing, coaching, fitness training, and psychological support to prepare its future artists for the global stage.

Global Reach and Adoption

Since its launch in July 2025, AuditionKpop.com and PMGaudition.com have received over 300 submissions weekly from aspiring talents across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The platforms accept auditions in English, Korean, and Filipino, while also welcoming performances in any language, underscoring PMG’s commitment to inclusivity and global discovery.

Part of PMG’s Long-Term Strategy

AuditionKpop.com forms a key part of PMG’s long-term strategy to position the Philippines as the next global pop hub. The company is expected to release its first records in summer 2026, with a robust slate of additional releases and international tours planned for 2027.

PMG’s live division, Popolo Live, has already been active in promoting and co-promoting concerts across Europe and America, laying the groundwork for its artists to perform on international circuits.
