Pittsburgh, PA – December 16th, 2021 – Vaughn Glace returns home for the holidays from a championship season on racetracks across the United States. Over the summer, Glace set track records at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Months later, Glace went to Indianapolis Motor Speedway and won 1st place in Formula X at 2021 SCCA National Championship Runoffs.
“It’s been an incredible year.” Glace declares. “What the lockdown in 2020 taught me is it’s all about your team. So, I went into 2021 knowing who you surround yourself with from managers, mechanics, and sponsors will push you forward.”
As the table is served with with dishes of pecan pie this holiday, Vaughn Glace won’t be thinking of the circular plate but instead the rounded corners of tracks he hasn’t yet conquered. Glace has tunnel vision for the 2022 calendar. His evenings will be spent with friends, family, and FaceTime calls with his team discussing next years’ challenges.
Vaughn Glace grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. He started with borrowed cars and used tires. When he’s home, he gives back to the community coaching other drivers. Before he takes to the track in the new year he’ll be practicing on iRacing simulator. Glace is now available for press interviews and inquiries.
