Public Well-being Technology Launch Set to Restore Peace of Mind for Consumers When COVID-19 Relaxes its Grip

Launched to help reduce the coronavirus anxiety consumers feel in public places, a new platform offers to bridge the gap to the new norm

Los Angeles, CA – April 27, 2020 – Thanks to the fear and economic chaos COVID-19 has caused, when the world opens its doors again for business, one question will remain.  Consumers who want their much-missed freedom, lifestyle, and calm back will ask, “Is it safe to be normal?”.  It’s a reasonable question with an answer that may be as close as a smartphone. So says a forward-thinking software company based in one of the coronavirus epicenters, Los Angeles, California. Now in a pre-order stage, Public Wellbeing Technology, Inc. has announced the launch of a free virtual safety check system designed for businesses and consumers. The platform encompasses an app launch whereby a six-point system that monitors the well-being of those who serve the public will be in play. Using the PWTSafe app, consumers can simply come in proximity to the business or scan a QR code to see if a business is CDC compliant.  Welcome to transparency in real-time.

Following EEOC guidelines, employees are tested throughout the day for fever, hand hygiene, mask-wearing, surface disinfecting and social distancing practices. Within PWTSafe, results are then shared immediately with the public via a curated list assigned to each employee.  Complete with the day’s date and multiple timestamps, the stats stay visible throughout the employee’s shift.

Monitoring their employees when a fever is detected, businesses can immediately be alerted to take action. Through the public well-being and safety app, they can report an illness, schedule reminders for employees to – wash their hands, and monitor all parts of their assurance program through a real-time dashboard.

“The moment people can get moving to enjoy life again, businesses need to do everything they can to inspire trust right out of the gate. When a consumer sees our PWTSafe verification emblem on the door of a business, with a quick employee health verification, they’ll have some control over their experience.  Right now, and going forward indefinitely, that’s a valuable commodity,” said Tamer Abdel, the Founder of Public Well-being Technology, Inc.
