LANCASTER, PA – Sun Point Wellness is a full service counseling center offering individual, family, marriage, couple, child and group therapy. Recently, the clinic added Yanina Marti Ramirez, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, to their team of dedicated therapists in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She will act as the Director of Bilingual Counseling Services.
Yanina Marti Ramirez holds a Masters in Social Work from University of Puerto Rico. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Registered Play Therapist™, and fully trained EMDR therapist accredited by the EMDRIA association. She offers all counseling services as a bilingual therapist, fluent in Spanish and English.
Yanina provides a safe environment for families in need. As a Mindfulness-Based Play-Family Therapist, she helps clients learn mindful parenting, and understand child development from birth through age twelve.
Adding Ms. Marti-Ramirez brings a new dynamic to the current Sun Point Wellness Center’s therapeutic offerings. Specifically, clients who are bilingual in English and Spanish now have the opportunity to receive expert therapy and specialized care in the language they feel most comfortable speaking.
“Language should not be a barrier to quality therapy. There is a large population of Lancaster who speak English as a second language, making it difficult to properly express themselves. This is where I come in. Clients can share and benefit from working with a therapist who speaks fluent Spanish,” said Marti-Ramirez.
Marti-Ramirez is skilled in all sorts of therapies from individual to couples and has the same client focused approach that makes Sun Point Wellness Center a top clinic in Lancaster. Her specialized counseling focuses on helping women, adolescents and families work through depression, anxiety, grief and loss. Marti-Ramirez is also highly experienced in EMDR and trauma therapies, a speciality of Sun Point Wellness.
