Children have the ability to learn three different languages in one incredible storybook

Multilingualism enables individuals to appreciate different cultures, build academic knowledge, enhance creativity, and adjust to local customs. The Cat, The Fish, The Waiter storybooks are designed to help children learn new languages and fortify their understanding of previously learned knowledge. The multi-language storybooks enable children to learn three different languages in one engaging story.
Created by Marianna Bergues, The Cat, The Fish, The Waiter was a story originally written by her father, but left unpublished. Bergues was told the story as a child and after graduating from Lower Merion High School, she published a version of her father’s story with three different languages appearing on each page.
Today, The Cat, The Fish, The Waiter is available in 15 different languages. Each book features English, French, and a third language that will help grow children’s knowledge of culture, society, and much more. Languages available include Korean, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Spanish, and many more.
The child of a multi-cultural family, Bergues learned the importance of learning multiple languages when she was young. Bergues learned English, French, and Swahili as a kid, and those languages helped shape her future. Bergues wants all children to gain the cultural and language awareness she was introduced to as a youth.
