The Embassy Row Project Launches the ENVIROTECH Pre-Accelerator

New York, NY – Sep 28, 2002 – Today the Embassy Row Project announces the launch of the ENVIROTECH Pre-Accelerator which provides an optimized conduit for hyper-accelerated internationalization of original academic whitepapers, research labs, startups, incubators, and accelerators. Made possible by a generous grant from the Embassy Row Project, ENVIROTECH offers a myriad of services to technology startups in the climate and environment tech space, while supporting synergistic original research, labs, incubators, and accelerators.

“My advisory practice focuses on energy and infrastructure. Next-generation innovations in technology on all fronts are an omnipresent requirement at every layer of each project and I’m constantly on the lookout for innovations that I can build into the projects I’m working on,” explains Embassy Row Project founder James Scott, “Over the years I’ve seen so many promising technologies that fell to the wayside due to lack of funding, limited international market access and strategic partnerships, ineffective media connectivity, and the complete absence of international and domestic government relations. This and other pre-accelerators supported by the Embassy Row Project, and designed by Tectonic Labz, bridges the gaps and overlooked vulnerabilities within the organizational architecture of each startup and organization we work with.”

Based on a grant and scholarship award system, ENVIROTECH evaluates applicants based on criteria such as originality, the potential for strategic implementation of existing projects, collaboration interest from existing government partners from more than 54+ countries, and market readiness.
