The Recording Academy Considers Paul Askew’s “The Book of Paul” for Best Gospel Album

The Grammy season is among us again, and the name Paul Askew is ringing again. This time it’s on the Grammy ballot for Best Gospel album.  The independent artist is a contender among some major artist and this isn’t the first time. His hit single “Save Me” hit the Top 50 Gospel Airplay with some of major gospel artist such as Cee Winan’s, Tamela Mann, and Tye Tribbett.

Paul’s album “The Book of Paul” takes you a melodic journey about his life. The warmful tenor tones give you a feeling that God’s presence is around you, as he shares his trials and testimonies which touch the world. As you listen, you will either have one chapter of your life which relates to the “Book of Paul”, or you will realize that you know someone who has gone through that same trial.

The production of the album encompasses some of the best producers which Jacksonville, Florida doesn’t give enough credit to. This music project definitely is one that should place Jacksonville, Florida on the map.   While there are a lot of multi genre artist from Jacksonville, Florida.  Paul Askew is also a multi genre artist. However, he joins the list of famous artists from Jacksonville, Florida as an independent artist and entrepreneur.

This year we are wishing Paul Askew and the Paul Paul Music LLC company the best and much success on their submission for Best Gospel album. The artist definitely deserves it. He has put in the work, and it’s paying off.  Grammy voters it’s not about the publicity, streams, it’s about the quality of the music.
