BudTrader is working with a prominent cannabis attorney to ensure that all cannabis donations given to Federal employees are confidential and compliant with California Cannabis adult use laws and regulations . BudTrader will donate the maximum legal allowable amount of cannabis to any Federal employee affected by the current government shutdown.
“Almost a million people have been affected by the government shutdown. People depend on those paychecks, because of the shutdown, they won’t be arriving on time this month,” says BudTrader CEO Brad McLaughlin. “I don’t think Federal employees are getting enough love and support, in these tough times, we want to extend the offer of a donation of medical cannabis to any Federal worker affected by the shutdown. We only hope our actions inspire larger companies to also try and help Federal employees affected by the shutdown”
The current government shutdown is being caused, in part, by a stalemate between President Trump and Congress on the issue of the Southern Border Wall. Federal employees will be going unpaid for the foreseeable future, and services such as National Parks will remain closed, until an agreement can be reached. President Trump has stated that he will not accept an agreement that does not include funding for a Border Wall.
