United Power Partners Helps San Diego Neighbors Fight Against The Most Expensive Utility (SDG&E) San Diego Gas & Electric In The Nation

San Diego company is helping local residents cut down their rising energy bills

A San Diego-based residential solar sales company Is helping San Diego neighbors fight against the most expensive utility bills in the nation. United Power Partners (https://unitedpowerpartners.com/ ) has partnered with industry giants to reduce the cost of energy bills in San Diego through renewable energy.

Residents and commercial outlets are being hit hard in the USA. The average wholesale prices for electricity in the United States were higher in 2021 than in 2020. There does not seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel with high energy prices. The energy price situation got so bad in 2021 that 20% of residents could not afford to pay for their energy bills.

Those hit the hardest by the rising energy bills are those living and working in San Diego. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, residents in San Diego paid 36.5 cents per kilowatt-hour in November and December 2021. That means energy bills in San Diego are much higher than in any other city in the country.

A spokesman for United Power Partners said: “Newspapers and news stations are reporting the extreme price increases are not going to slow down or stop, prices will continue to rise every year to support the grid for and all EV California state that.”

In 2021 members of the G8 met in the UK to talk about ways to save the planet. One of those discussions was using EV cars on the road. However, it has been estimated that it will cost 30 billion dollars to upgrade the Grid in California to hand the rising number of EV cars. The upgrade cost will fall on the residents of California through their energy bills.

Energy and Utility expert Gary Ackerman, Founding Executive Director of The Western Power Trading Forum (WPTF), has commented on the grid upgrade.

He said: “30 billion does not include the million charging stations estimated to be needed by 2030.”

Gary Ackerman estimates that over the next 20 years, average rates will go up more than double.

The CPUC California Public Utilities Commissions estimates SDGE rates will continue to go up 4.7% every year at least till 2030, so buckle up as we’re going to be seeing a lot more of that!

One way to beat the rising electrical costs is through renewable energy. By installing rooftop solar panels, it can help residents in San Diego to save money straight away. If all residents in San Diego had solar panels installed and used renewable energy for their homes, it would remove them from the fear of continued rising energy bills.

A spokesman for United Power Partners said: “People will on average cut 40-60% off their monthly electric cost without costing them a dollar from their pocket.”

“Plus, you’ll get grandfathered into Net Metering 2.0 before the CPUC adds the largest solar tax hike the solar history with Net Metering 3.0 that will devour that 40-60% savings!”

Having solar panels installed in San Diego is not just about reducing the cost of electricity; it is also a way to help save the planet for future generations. As well as helping to protect our planet, it will also add value to the home when the homeowner wishes to put it on the market. Zillow reports show homes with solar increase 4.1%: https://www.zillow.com/research/solar-panels-house-sell-more-23798/amp/

United Power Partners are doing their bit in the fight against high energy bills in San Diego by supplying 430-watt solar panels that come with a 30-year warranty. With their help, those living in San Diego can stop worrying about the rising cost of electricity.
