New York – After winning the award for Best Arab Song for the 2018 World Cup, Tunisian international rapper K2RHYM (Karim Gharbi) was offered a sponsorship by the FutureNet Foundation. FutureNet signed the contract at a ceremony held yesterday in New York at the headquarters of the Intergovernmental Institution For The Use Of Micro-Algae Spirulina Against Malnutrition. The award was presented in the presence of FutureNet founders, Roman Zeiman and Stephen Morgenston.

K2RHYM’s World Cup 2018 song “Oooh La La” reached more than 15 million views on YouTube in less than a month after its release. The video featured Brazilian football star Ronaldinho and a group of Arab players, and was filmed in Brazil, Egypt, Tunisia and a few other locations, including Russia.

The song won the “Best Arab song for the 2018 World Cup”, a title presented by the Qanawat Middle East Channels Label.

K2RHYM is also a Goodwill Ambassador of the Intergovernmental Observer to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), which is working to combat hunger and malnutrition in the world. He has previously visited several countries for various humanitarian initiatives, with the most notable being his four-day visit to refugee camps in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

MSAM, represented by Ambassadors R. Maradona and K2RHYM, will be signing an MOU in September in FutureNet’s Warsaw Headquarters for a strategic partnership agreement with FutureNet Foundation for humanitarian and charitable work to support MSAM’s efforts to combat malnutrition and hunger.

Commenting on the occasion, MSAM Secretary General R. Maradona said: “I am happy with this partnership between FutureNet and our goodwill ambassador K2RHYM, to contribute to support the mandate of MSAM in the elimination of malnutrition, the number one killer in the world. I congratulate K2RHYM on his artistic success and the continuation of his creative career with all excellence.”

The Arab rap artist shared a statement on the newly formed sponsorship and partnership, too: “I am very happy with this partnership and sponsorship, which will reflect positively on my career and allow me to further my humanitarian dedication. I would like to thank my audiences for their great interaction with my song on the World Cup. I would also like to thank the Qanawat Middle East for honoring me with this award, which reflects the group’s vision of encouraging creativity and supporting community and humanitarian initiatives. ” K2RHYM said.
