SYDNEY, Australia – February 13, 2019 – Feeling torn between modern style and the capability of boldly expressing yourself while straying from pop culture’s norm is now an issue of the past, thanks to the unique design of Aiverc‘s “Jørn Utzon” collection. Inspired by Utzon’s architecture masterpieces like the Sydney Opera House, Faena Hotels and Royal Ontario Museum, Aiverc combines the grandeur of prominent structures with premium components to produce the ultimate fashion statement. Now live on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter, there are a limited number of highly discounted watches that will sell out quickly.
“A watch doesn’t have to be just a timepiece. It can be a statement. I wanted to create a luxury watch that was bold and different, and allowed people to express themselves,” said CEO and Founder Crevia Soh.
After a conducting ample product testing and research, Aiverc chose to use the reputable Miyota 2035 quartz movement by Citizen. This Japanese movement is widely used for its accuracy and reliability. During our process, Aiverc validated that the “Jørn Utzon” collection of luxury watches only loses 15 seconds per month, unlike most other watches on the market that lose up to 50 seconds per day. This vast contrast is due to the proper utilization of electronic oscillators in Aiverc watches that are regulated by quartz crystals. Besides using a reputable movement, this line of luxury watches also cares about the overall design of the timepieces and are unlike most watches on the market today. By keeping the case diameter to a reasonable 40mm size, Aiverc is able to ensure a comfortable t for both men and women.
Because Aiverc puts customer care as their top priority, they only source the world’s best components for the watchcases, which are made of 316L stainless steel that ensures long-term durability and prevents corrosion. With Molybdenum added, it gives the steel a better overall rust-resistant property than 304L. Therefore; this marine grade stainless steel material is widely used in diving equipment. While most modern watches did not have this feature, they felt it was a worthy modern luxury material to include. Aiverc watches are water-resistant up to 5ATM/50m, so you can wear your timepiece rain or shine without having to worry. Plus, all Aiverc watches are coated with Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) plating, which creates a brilliant, excellent nish and also protects them from elements that could cause damage. To achieve a perfectly durable design, keeping your timepiece protected is extremely important. By using stronger sapphire glass, you can rest assured that those pesky little scratches will be kept at bay. And, they’ve also integrated anti-reective coating (AR) for the best viewing experience.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Aiverc has added a special limited ‘super early bird’ discount for couples to receive custom charms to accessorize both of their watches. Since this is a time sensitive offer, it will be limited to the rst 99 backers on Kickstarter, which aligns with other similar deals.
The charms utilize a two-sided magnetic design on both the top and bottom.
Attaching the charms are extremely easy when using the supplied 5mm hole punch tool (similar to a leather belt hole puncher), so you can punch the hole anywhere you like on the watch’s leather. Then, simply insert the bottom of the charm through the hole and attach it to the top.
“Have you heard of attaching charms onto watches (like Pandora but on watches)? The concept behind the charms on watches was inspired by the thought of people in mind. We want people to express themselves in a style by making a statement on their watches. Everyone has different style, hobbies, and lifestyle, we want people to be condent with themselves without being care about what other people think. I refer to this collection as Decoratifs,” said Soh.
To achieve the project’s goal of AU$ 20,000, Soh and the Aiverc team have decided to look to Kickstarter for initial funding. Soh will be offering rewards on the Kickstarter website for 35 days at a deeply discounted rate to secure early funding for the overall production and manufacturing of Aiverc’s rst round of production.
The campaign launched on Kickstarter this morning and is scheduled to wrap up on March 19. Soh says that the company plans to immediately get to work for a mid-2019 release.
