Fashion Editorial Inspired by the Omo Valley Tribe captured by Allan Gregorio
The photographer Allan Gregorio and the fashion designer Mariana Yamakawa teamed up on an editorial to show the rich culture and traditions of the Omo Valley people in Ethiopia.
According to media buzz the Omo Valley people are going through many difficulties because they have no power of choice and no voice in front of a government that doesn’t care about their own people or ecosystem. Shoot in Brazil, the fashion editorial also addresses the issue of sustainability in fashion, aiming to make people aware of their clothing choices… which can help to preserve the nature and stop a bit of deforestation and pollution.
The models showcasing the editorial are part of HDA Models, the only Brazilian agency specializing in black models.
